    Define "real NT Christians".

    "plead the blood"

That is where I depart from you, friend, as I am a new convert to the Baptist principle of liberty of conscience. There is no such body, as you propose, that is free of doctrinal error, nor should there be any such body with authority to force its beliefs on anyone. That has been tried in the...

    "plead the blood"

Religious wars have been fought over Christians calling other Christians heretics. You sure you want to go there?

    Historical? Only since the Reformation.

    "plead the blood"

Exactly. Who decides? All denominations claim to base their beliefs either exclusively on the bible, or on bible and tradition, or bible, tradition, and experience. Even for those who claim to base their beliefs solely on the bible, there are wide differences in belief. So your question of 'who...

    "plead the blood"

Then that definition would also apply to those who believe in penal substitution. So, I guess that makes you a heretic, huh?

    "plead the blood"

I see the word heresy used on here a lot and in other circles. Seems to me some people use it to label someone who disagrees with their point of view.

    Satan

If Satan is tempting a person, can he also be tempting another person, or other persons, at the same time? Is Satan omnipresent? Preachers I've heard seem to believe he is. I do not. But if he can tempt more than one person or influence the thoughts or actions of multiple people at the same...

    "plead the blood"

I think that is a mischaracterizing of Copeland's views. One thing I do disagree with him on is the prosperity teaching.

    "plead the blood"

I believe Copeland is wrong on some things, but so are some Baptist preachers I've heard.

I'm in the process of trying to educate myself in regard to the mainline Protestant denominations.

Not all Quakers are mainline. From my reading, there are the Evangelical Friends, conservative and holiness-leaning. Some even practice baptism and communion.

I'm not sure I see the difference. Can you explain further?

    "plead the blood"

I hear Pentecostal preachers say this all the time: "Plead the blood over _____." What do they mean by this? It seems they and others are almost using the blood of Jesus like an amulet. Isn't this reverting back to paganism and cultism? Also, I saw Kenneth Copeland the other night hold a...

    Healing

I have seen and heard individuals give testimony directly of their healing. I have no reason to doubt them. I have seen and heard their doctors that backed them up. I have no reason to doubt them. If we are going to stop believing that God still heals dramatically and miraculously, then I...

Trying to find a church home

The local churches decided by consensus over a period of time, not some hierarchy that didn't exist in New testament times or in the earliest churches.

    Healing

I believe you are mostly right. But in the British Pentecostal evangelist Smith Wigglesworth's ministry, there were reports of people being raised from the dead. Andrew Wommack makes the same claim about his wife and son. I've heard people testify about being healed from all sorts of chronic and...
