Georgia did same thing. I personally do not agree with it because I see it as an infringement upon students freedom. I know all the "good reasons" for it, but I never side on restricting liberty that I see as essential.

Can’t help you much. They make a take down 98 Mauser. The Mauser in the picture released was not a takedown 98. It can not be folded or broken down. I am not even sure the rifle in the picture released is a Mauser. I have gotten to point I don’t trust the Government at all.
