They are ice breakers and quite effective ones.

The million dollar bill tract is the most popular probably ever of any gospel tract. It's just a very effective ice breaker. How else do I reach the masses with the good news? Just obeying the great commission and preaching to every creature. One needs to get saved before they can be discipled.

My question was on reaching the thousands of people at PrideFest. There is no easy way to do this but to use tracts. Open air was not allowed so most would rather just ignore the event and the lost.

As I write I am at Denvers PrideFest. There are THOUSANDS of lost souls out here. I have almost passed out 300 million dollar bill gospel tracts and a handful of Cartoon tracts stamped with my contact info. 300 million dollar bills was not enough and I could easily have brought 1000 tracts and...

You make a valid point. It's all inspired scripture and we do not know for sure when Christ's words end.

As I said no one know for sure. But I do have many red letter bibles and do believe that Jesus may have spoken John 3:16. But even if he did not, its still inspired scripture.

I have heard a theory that even RC Sproul agrees with and that is that Jesus did not dictate John 3:16 and the rest of the chapter but his words end in verse 15. No one knows for sure so what do you say?

I do not agree with avoiding events neither, but sadly far too many friendship evangelists do this! Many are against mass tract distribution. Yes there are multiple types of tracts and I have many types of tracts, but by far the money tract is the most popular. There are also lots of varieties...

They believe in friendship evangelism so will completely avoid events in the area where lots of lost people will attend and therefore do not do evangelism.

No church is perfect.

The sad thing is that my new church does not do evangelism so I am on my own.
