Covid immunity lasts years, maybe decades

I believe there are already multiple strains.

Or the infection could do permanent damage to organs, and the next infection becomes the deadly one. I personally know people overseas that have not fully recovered months later, and their doctors do not know if they will ever fully recover.

How many Looking toward the Legacy Nasb version?

Even for entirely secular reasons, this inability to have a frozen text is absurd. Even "Classic" literature has unabridged editions that are identical printing to printing.

How many Looking toward the Legacy Nasb version?

Thanks so much! I have had trouble finding the same comparisons for the AS and Living Bible as for other more popular paraphrases and translations

Ooops we cross posted! I am reading your response now.

How many Looking toward the Legacy Nasb version?

Yes! I agree! BUT does it paraphrase all the verses in the KJV? Or does it skip the verses usually skipped in most modern language translations? And it is unlikely to be updated and will hopefully remain frozen, so that older printings will match newer printings word for word?

Covid immunity lasts years, maybe decades

I have heard conflicting information about immunity. There are people that benefit greatly by the general population believing that the vaccine will be effective. I know nothing. I have no opinion, because I trust no one. I personally will not assume I am immune, even after confirmation that I...

How many Looking toward the Legacy Nasb version?

As well as all the different translations, the translations themselves are not stable, and the publishers are not transparent about changes. The only version that I know of that has been frozen is the Living Bible. The living Bible is based on the AS instead of directly on Greek and Hebrew, but...

How many Looking toward the Legacy Nasb version?

So many translations weakens the church as a whole and inhibits our ability to create reference books and resources that can last and be widely adopted. Bible memory resources keep getting updated to a new translation. God's Word no longer becomes something that does not change. Instead it...

    Shortwave Radio

I have learned the past few years to trust that what I need will rain upon me like manna, when I need it and not until I need it. But there come these times and certain exceptions when I know I am supposed to act. The times and items are infrequent, but I know. Yup, people had pantries and...

    Shortwave Radio

I am probably being a little weird. I have been very selective about what has freaked me out for this pandemic and election. I moved out of my high-rise apartment in a democrat city. I have not stockpiled, but I have made sure to get a few key items now instead of waiting until it became...

    Shortwave Radio

This. If shortwave becomes the way some people start to spread information, I want to be able to hear it. The 'Amateur' Tech That Could Penetrate the Kashmir Blackout On August 15, AFP reported that the BBC plans to expand its shortwave radio coverage in Kashmir “to ease the impact of a...

    Shortwave Radio

It is interesting to me that Christian radio is still so often in shortwave, when so many other genres of radio dropped it long ago. Shortwave radio is still most active in the poorest countries, but here in the USA any radios that are cheap have horrible reviews. I am trying to figure this...

    Shortwave Radio

I am very discouraged by the prices and reviews of even models that are far outside my price range. I do not know enough about the science of radio waves and electronics to be able to able to evaluate the reviews.

Do you mind sharing what model your wife chose and how well it works. The reviews are scary.
