    Faith # 5

Expositor's Greek Testament Ephesians 2:8. τῇ γὰρ χάριτί ἐστε σεσωσμένοι: for by grace have ye been saved. More exactly “by the grace,” i.e., by this grace, the grace already mentioned. Grace is the explanation of their own salvation, and how surpassingly rich the grace must be that could...

    Thoughts on Justification

The elect are made righteous by His faithful obedience Rom 5:19 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. If one is made righteous, thats salvation. A righteous man is saved Matt 13 43 Then shall the righteous shine...

    Thoughts on Justification

Yes it is His faith/faithfulness that saves the elect. And the world is saved by way of all the elect being saved. Christ Justifies the elect because Christ died for their sins, and they because of that believe.

    Thoughts on Justification

They are the same. Faith in Rom 5:1 is Christ Therefore being justified by Christ, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

    Faith # 5

Again Eph 2:8 teaches clearly that Faith, literally the faith with the definite article, is not of ourselves, but a gift of God. The greek doesn't supplant that, sorry, everything involved with salvation is by pure grace which also is a gift.

Redeems those He died for from the Prison of Unbelief !

Gal 3:13 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Christ death alone redeemed them He died for from the curse of the law, so they were saved from hell and dying in their sins before they...

    Faith # 5

Eph 2:8 teaches Faith is the Gift of God and the greek doesn't overturn that. You just dont believe the Truth

Christ the risen Saviour, not potential Saviour! 3

For Christ to be the author of ones Salvation Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; He must have made sure of everything needed to save His people from their sins. Is Faith needed ? Is repentance needed ? All those blessing have...

    Faith # 5

No it doesnt. Its crystal clear that Faith is a Gift in Eph 2:8 and not of ourselves.

    Faith # 5

lol that greek argument doesnt help. I have studied greek in seminary. Faith is still the Gift of God in that verse, and not of ourselves.
