Donald Trump’s ‘Locker Room Talk’ Was the Last Straw for Many Young Voters

Would you say that Hillary, an enabler who demonizes and destroys reputations of women her husband has cheated on her with -- in some cases as reported by the female victims, by forcing himself on them -- is a Christian?

    Joining the church

Then there's no point to this thread. Let it go. If they care, they'll contact you, and you can talk to them about it then. But I'm betting you won't hear from them. Just let it go -- unless your new pastor says differently.

    Joining the church

Your question should be directed to the pastor and/or administrative person for how your new church does it. Here, on a message board, you're going to get opinions rather than proper process.

Debates are a waste of time

He didn't compare the two. YOU made that connection, not him.

Debates are a waste of time

    I didn't say they were.

Debates are a waste of time

Discussion and debate force us to defend our views; which requires research and learning. It helps us grow. If we don't grow, we stagnate. If we stagnate, we breed mosquitos. When we breed mosquitos, someone sprays us with pesticides. When we get sprayed with pesticides, we become unusable.

Debates are a waste of time

So you think others should read the book because you can't explain or defend it "well enough" yourself?

    Real debates

It's not about counting how many souls are won; it IS about winning souls (see Proverbs 11:30), and following the commandment to make disciples. But that's a topic for a different thread. I'll step back and let you continue with JoJ and Baptist Believer now.

    Real debates

Got me on the detail. Yes, evangelizing is what I should have used instead of witnessing.

    Real debates

You need to re-evaluate this statement. If WOTM is the "best" way to witness, then it should be good in ALL languages. Also, you need to point out to John of Japan: he's mixing two things. You claim WOTM is the "best" way to witness; JoJ is looking at the best way to win souls.

    "Friends of Bill"

Because there's been an overabundance of anti-Trump posts, let's not forget the other side.... ----- http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/fobs-hillarys-state-dept-gave-special-attention-friends/story?id=42615379 In a series of candid email exchanges with top Clinton Foundation officials during the...

    Real debates

Everything Joel Osteen "preaches" can be backed up with scripture. Everything the "name it and claim it" bunch preach can be backed up with scripture. Because it can be backed up with a verse doesn't make it true. There used to be a gentleman in your neck of the woods named Bob Enyart; he...

Is there an actual debate going on here? I don't recognize any of these tactics....

    Why doesn't God speak?

You're still not listening, are you? You say you've sat hours in silence waiting; and yet, you've had a lot of people responding to you on this message board, telling you things. God speaks to us through His Word, AND through His messengers. Have you considered helping someone who needs...

    Why doesn't God speak?

Are you sure you're listening? There's an old joke about a man on the roof of a house during a flood, praying for God to save him. Another man came by in a boat, asking if he needed help; he said no, God would help him. A helicopter flew over, and asked if he needed help. Again he repiled, no...

The V.P. Debates: Did you see it and who won?

Galatians 3: The Law, The Promise, & An X-Mormon

Perhaps the way to consider this is, what are you placing your trust in? If you're placing your trust, and thus believing, in your faith PLUS your works, then your salvation is not of faith alone. Since you're going through Galatians anyway, take a long look at 2:8-10. A lot of studies and...

    Self justification

Wow. Now I KNOW you're not the original Zaac. The original Zaac wouldn't have made such an obvious blunder. See, the difference between a "conversation" and a message board is that on a message board, you can start with the first post, go back and re-read posts multiple times, re-reference them...

    Self justification

Well, steaver, apparently I owe you a big apology. Christians AREN'T advocating for taking away choice. Laws do NOT remove choice. That's what makes this argument so stupid. Laws identify what's acceptable and, hopefully, best for the society. To break that law is to harm society in some way...

    Self justification

Actually, that's not what Zaac has done at all. Zaac has not advocated "without consequences"; what he's said is to place emphasis on God's law, rather than man's. God's law, without doubt, has consequences. You brought up murder as an example; anyone can choose to commit murder. We see that...
