    What Day Did Christ Die?

We all have our views, you and I can see clearly a Wed. crucifixion but that's not the case with everyone. I don't know but it seems to me 37818 is not understanding the Passover week as it effects Scripture, but it could be me also. That's what I thought he and I were working on, plus I have...

    Where is heaven?

Well, maybe it's me, I'm used to someone quoting Scripture and then explaining it according to the topic. That way I can respond understanding the other view.

    Where is heaven?

Brother, you need to do a little explaining with all that Scripture. That would inform us as to what that Scripture means to you.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

And you sir were pounding us but you don't want to recognize that. The manufactured demonic force you're speaking of should show us that we misunderstanding the Scripture in some way when it doesn't meet our interpretation. If we don't believe the Word of God is pure then the demonic forces...

    What Day Did Christ Die?

We don't know the exact date of His birth or His death, and we don't need to know now. What we need to know He has made clear, we can be justified by grace through faith only in Him to be brought back into relationship with the Father.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

I'm just trying to get out of something I never wanted to get into. I guess I should have never replied to the thread. It doesn't matter a hill of beans whether we know or don't know the actual date of Christ' death in this life. If He wanted us to know He would have told us. I was trying...

    Where is heaven?

Nothing that I can see concerning entering into heaven and then knowing what we don't know now.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

LOL. you pound someone for arguing and then state a Friday crucifixion knowing it will be opposed.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

Hey, I didn't want this argument, check my posts!

    What Day Did Christ Die?

When they ate on the evening of the 14th it was at the point of sunset on the 14th, which is when the 15th began. So in Exodus 12:18 the Passover meal is actually ate on the 15th after sunset in the evening.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

Yes, 7 days of unleavened bread beginning on the 15th through the 21st. On the 14th preparation day the meal is prepared and all leaven is removed from the home.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

"In the first month, on the 14th day of the month at evening, you shall eat...." The 14th is the preparation day, the first day of Unleavened Bread is the High day beginning at evening on the 15th.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

Man, after rereading my post I got ahead of myself and didn't finish explaining Mark 14:12. You are reading "and the first day of unleavened bread" as the act taking place being after sunset when that day actually began. The days began at sunset and when Mark said that he didn't mean it was...

    What Day Did Christ Die?

Now here's the problem as I see it. No one knows for sure the High Day Sabbeth fell on Friday as tradition says. They simply don't know for sure. Did it fall on Thur., Fri., or Sat.,? We don't know for sure. If we knew for sure then we could come to a conclusion.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

LOL, I didn't want to get into this, but let's work it out now that you won't let it go. Mark 14:12 "And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?" The 14th was the...

    What Day Did Christ Die?

The bottom line for me cutting through all the arguing is that Christ said He would be in the tomb for 3 day and 3 nights. Why would He say that if He wasn't in the tomb for 3 full days and 3 full nights? The only timeline that can possibly fit is a Wed. crucifixion. That's what I'm going with...

    What Day Did Christ Die?

It makes no difference which day you believe Christ died there is an apparent problem with it in Scripture. There were 2 Sabbaths that week and we don't know exactly how they dealt with it.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

We know it wasn't Thur., He couldn't have risen after 3 days and Mary Magdalene have found Him Sun. morning. He would have still been in the tomb.

    What Day Did Christ Die?

That's for sure! I'm sure of Wed, but not that sure.
  20. C

    What Day Did Christ Die?

It had to be Wed. there is no other possibility.
