    When did regeneration occur?

One of the most oft-repeated and most ridiculous statements on BB.

Why is the Christian Reformed Church in Decline?

One should never confuse God's using him with God's needing him.

Does God Love Every Individual Person in the Same Manner?

There are many ways to skin a cat, and many Arminians are immune to Romans 9 because they have ignored it for so long.

    Another Deep State Coverup

Is that the new way to say: deleted?

"For God did not send his Son into the world. . ."

I break this down for you, Hank. If you interpret, "world" in verse 16 to mean, "all people", then, if you are to be consistent, you must apply that to verse 17 as well, which would make it read: For God sent not his Son into all people to condemn all people; but that all people through him...

If a Calvinist Preached on the Gospel from your Pulpit

I fully agree with that, and I wonder if this view isn't just a little inconsistent with Baptistic thought in regards to baptism.

If a Calvinist Preached on the Gospel from your Pulpit

I know firsthand that this is true because the Lord called me using the reading of the Sermon on the Mount by a man who lead cult! While channel surfing I came across his program wight as he began reading the text. Much non-Cal preaching is Christ-less/gospel-less. Even if it begins well, it...

"For God did not send his Son into the world. . ."

Many have misunderstood the word, "World" in John 3:16 to mean all people in the world, but just reading the very next verse prevents such a mistake. If John 3:16 means people then John 3:17 would have to read: "For God did not send his Son into every person. . ." but that makes no sense, in...

If a Calvinist Preached on the Gospel from your Pulpit

I'm not saying that some, or even much, of the content might not be the same, but the difference lies in the emPhAsis being on the wrong sylLABles, and, that is what distorts the message. A synergist's gospel is not completely false in content, but it is false in emphasis; therefore, in...

    When did regeneration occur?

You will find that not all Calvinists would agree that there is a, "well-meant" offer to all who hear the gospel, but I'm not one of them. I belive, just as you do, that the good news is willfully rejected by all but the elect.

That's nice. What does that have to do the the OP?

If a Calvinist Preached on the Gospel from your Pulpit

You can speak for me on this topic. I've never said nor implied that synergists weren't saved. I was one for over 20 years, and I was certainly a Christian.

"Some areas"??? There is a fundemantal difference of worldviews. You've spent enough time in this subforum to understand that.

Why is the Christian Reformed Church in Decline?

This is what God has prescribed. Take it up with Him.

Their foundation is errant, so everything built upon it is, as well.

If a Calvinist Preached on the Gospel from your Pulpit

The gospel is news - a proclaimation. Synergysts turn it it something that must be done, a la "How to be Born Again".

Baptists in Hawaii Get Word of Knowledge, Ignore Incoming Missile Alert

Great point. Many people like to stamp their intuitions with statements such as, "God lead me." God told me". . . So, if one says such, would that mean that disobeying would be a sinful act? Would it be a sin to take cover because "God told" this guy it was a false alarm?

Baptists in Hawaii Get Word of Knowledge, Ignore Incoming Missile Alert

Christians should make no appoligy for taking cover because of threat of an incoming bomb. I have my doubts about the super-spiritual folks who did not seek cover.
