    Infants in hell

It matters not whether you quote Piper,MacArthur,Sproul,Van Dyke or even Calvin himself; you will always fall short of understanding their special brand of esoteric theories. The more I interact with this posturing, the more I'm convinced it's a lame excuse to walk away from the illogical...

Calvinists Should Be Calmest and Kindest

Fair enough. So God is INDIFFERENT to the rest, right? Does God LOVE them?

    Infants in hell

It was part of the OP; back your choice with scriptures or at least pretend to

    Infants in hell

What's the difference between ordaining and allowing? Specifically, does God allow what He does not Will or Ordained?

    Infants in hell

Could you offer your own concise definition of the same as opposed to rejecting mine? Then and only then is there validity in your claim that mine is wrong. Just a general statement. You will back it up or clarify with scriptures if required to

Calvinists Should Be Calmest and Kindest

WHY does God offer them salvation? Is He mocking them? Did Jesus die for them? And does God LOVE them?

Calvinists Should Be Calmest and Kindest

There is nothing like 'worldly logic'. Nowhere do scriptures (except in some of the most inconsistent and absurd theological constructs imagined) does God offer men an impossible-to-receive salvation. Stop mocking God by proof-texting. A God who does not Will that any may perish would do...

    Infants in hell

What is the difference between an infant possessing sins he is not conscious of and a Totally Depraved** adult who is equally sin unconscious? **Total Depravity means the adult lacks any capacity to acknowledge their sinfulness let alone trust in Christ for deliverance from it. Yet the adult...

    Infants in hell

Can anything happen without God decreeing it?

    Infants in hell

All dead infants are Elect/saved. Ok What do we call this? Infant universalism? All I know is John Calvin was of contrary opinion. His theology had zero qualms with infants in hell. He rigidly held to eternal damnation of dead infants who were not Elect. But we are not debating Calvin, are we?

    Infants in hell

He is also FREE to damn because He is a Just God or simply because He can. He is equally FREE to grant me 1022 years of life. We are not asking what He CAN or is FREE to do but rather what He does

    Infants in hell

Ok. So dead infants are Elect. Permit me to probe further Mr @TCassidy Why are they Elect? Because God forgave them out of His abundant Mercy or because they are blameless?

    Infants in hell

How does your 'simple' explanation handle the fact that Jesus invited ALL children?

    Infants in hell

Ok. That was a sensitive example. I'm sorry

    Infants in hell

But what would be the biblical and theological warrant for concluding all infants who die Elect while the rest are/may not be Elect? Matthew 19:14 Jesus says of little children, 'of such is the Kingdom of heaven'. So I find no distinction between infants (and children) dying or living up to...

    Infants in hell

Big difference between presumptuous sin and inherited sin. Whether comprehension is necessary for sin to be justly punishable or not, a damned infant did nothing and they can't even comprehend that 'nothing' yet they land in hell for it.

    Infants in hell

Except water baptism has been erroneously held by some to save. It's not a farfetched example. Infant baptism stemmed from this belief

    Infants in hell

True, it was just an example of things infants don't need to have eternal life. They need nothing

    Infants in hell

A good teacher once told me to always try and follow my beliefs to their logical conclusion. If infants have eternal life then they are Elect, else they are damned. If either of these gives you theological nightmares then you ought to revise your theology. God damning infants over sin they...
