I disagree. It did nothing to prevent a future gas attack or further genocide as Assad remains in power. Fuel and ammo can easily be replaced by Russia and they still have plenty of planes left.

It is looking like this was just a waste of money at this point. The airfield was up and running less than 2 days after the attack and the mood seems to be that no more action will be taken.
