When they ate on the evening of the 14th it was at the point of sunset on the 14th, which is when the 15th began. So in Exodus 12:18 the Passover meal is actually ate on the 15th after sunset in the evening.

Yes, 7 days of unleavened bread beginning on the 15th through the 21st. On the 14th preparation day the meal is prepared and all leaven is removed from the home.

"In the first month, on the 14th day of the month at evening, you shall eat...." The 14th is the preparation day, the first day of Unleavened Bread is the High day beginning at evening on the 15th.

Now here's the problem as I see it. No one knows for sure the High Day Sabbeth fell on Friday as tradition says. They simply don't know for sure. Did it fall on Thur., Fri., or Sat.,? We don't know for sure. If we knew for sure then we could come to a conclusion.

The bottom line for me cutting through all the arguing is that Christ said He would be in the tomb for 3 day and 3 nights. Why would He say that if He wasn't in the tomb for 3 full days and 3 full nights? The only timeline that can possibly fit is a Wed. crucifixion. That's what I'm going with...

It makes no difference which day you believe Christ died there is an apparent problem with it in Scripture. There were 2 Sabbaths that week and we don't know exactly how they dealt with it.

That leaves us with Wed. fulfilling everything except the the disciples who said "this is the 3rd day.

There is only 2 explanations for a Thurs. crucifixion. Back to back Sabbaths or the High Sabbath replacing the weekly Sabbath. There is no mention in Scripture of either happening.

I would like to hear what he doesn't mention. Where does the Sabbath day of Unleavened Bread fit in his theory?

The case for a Thur. crucifixion is back to back Sabbaths. Thurs being the preparation day, the day of the crucifixion, and then a High Day Sabbath followed by the weekly Sabbath Sat. I think this very unlikely.
