At our church in Zweibruecken, Germany - we had an attender who was Presbyterian - would not get immersed, because she had been sprinkled as a child. We welcomed her attendance, but she could not join until immersed. After a few months - she came around and realized she needed to be immersed.

Jo, What town in Deutschland do you hail from? Many here on BB were in the US military and spend time over there. Myself, I was stationed in Zweibruecken, Wildflecken, and Mainz. And which IFB church did you attend? BTW - welcome to BB. Looking forward to your input.

Everyone is complaining about "Freedom of the Press" Those organizations can still report on the POTUS, they just can not be there in person. Does that make their job harder - YES But I'm sure they will find a way. On the other hand - Trump might be sorry for excluding them!

Because, they may not understand what they are being asked to do do. It would be akin to "Repeat after me -abc" for a quick salvation. I went thur a 13 week course for baptism/membership. As I look back - I am so glad I did that, as my baptism had a strong meaning.

In addition - we in the USA speak American - not pure English! (not counting the multiple regional....)

The news report stated the family had one year to file a claim - it was filed JUST before the deadline. I wonder why the delay? I do agree with Jon - In addition, Mrs. Salty - said when it is your time - it is your time!
