Continuation - The Church Without The Pre-Trib Rapture Is Not Good News

I do not think I said the number 7 refers to perfect things. If I did it was a mistake on my parts because I know better. I I don't think I did. The number 7 is the number for complete things. The number 12 represents something that is unattainable from the natural man, perfect government...

Continuation - The Church Without The Pre-Trib Rapture Is Not Good News

Gentlemen! I have thought I will give some insight into how I know Martha, Mary, and Lazarus are representative types of, first the church of Jesus Christ, then the regenerated elect of Israel, and finally how Lazarus equals the resurrection and restitution of the nation. I could give lots of...

John 11: A Microcosm of the New Testament times. A definition of Microcosm. Small wonder that the oldest meaning of microcosm in our dictionary is “little world”: the word comes ultimately from the Greek phrase mikros kosmos, meaning “little universe.” That meaning can be applied to many a wee...

One must differentiate from tribulation (trouble) and (THE) tribulation and the (GREAT) tribulation. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. This following...

Continuation - The Church Without The Pre-Trib Rapture Is Not Good News

The difference between Israel and gentiles during the days of the ministry of Jesus and during the following years we call the apostolic period, which ended in AD 70, is the miracles and signs. Jesus performed signs like healings, casting out devils, to confirm his claims that he is indeed the...

This is what is actually said; 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery (not revealed anywheres else but here), lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all...

What verse in this passage do you want me to see, 37818? This one? 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of...

I recall you saying that Jesus was speaking to us, meaning you and me, when he said the words in this chapter 24. He talked about our temple in Jerusalem being eliminated and our signs of the end of the world, and our enduring to the end in order to be saved, our escape from Judaea and...

Jesus has never ministered to the gentile world in person. My statement is true, 37818. Jesus ministered to ONE gentile who was a ruler and was seeking him. He was not there seeking gentiles. The timing of this action is very symbolic. It was in chapter 8 and immediately after Jesus came down...

Continuation - The Church Without The Pre-Trib Rapture Is Not Good News

Dave G, there has never been a time when the church has been concerned with a temple. Fleeing to the mountains and seeing the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place. why would we in the West pray that we do not have to flee on the sabbath day. When has the church ever kept the...

Continuation - The Church Without The Pre-Trib Rapture Is Not Good News

During the years of the OT God had to show what the cost was to redeem sinning men from their sins and restore them to fellowship with him. Sin broke that fellowship and one should think at this point that if God did not desire fellowship with us he would not have created us in the first place...

You are answering me with a question. This does not give me confidence that can make a persuasive argument for your beliefs from these passages. Unstated so far. A church is neither good or bad, sound doctrinally, or even dispensational just because they have a title of IB or IFB over their...

Thank you for your willingness to speak on this subject. What is it in Matt 24 or Mark 13 that you want me to see that causes you to think it establishes the time line for the church? As far as I can remember I have never quoted any pre-trib author on these forums to justify what I believe...

There is no excuse for anyone who is a Christian in this period of history, with the indwelling Spirit of Christ to teach us, to be unable to understand the times we are living in. We have the prophecies of the OT scriptures and the full and complete NT scriptures and we have 6K years of human...

Let's take a look at the revelation now and draw some conclusions as concerning time. John's Introduction to the epistle. ) It is a revelation of Jesus Christ not known before Re 1:1 ) It was given to John Re 1:1 ) John recorded three (3) things 1) The word of God ) The...

My rapture thread was closed before I could provide a defense for a very important point that was raised by Alan D. Gross. It is as follows. "I do not know of any evidence that there has ever been ONE premillennialist, or ONE premillennial dispensationalist, or ONE postmillennialist who can...

The Danger of the Denial of the Pre-Trib Translation (Rapture) of the Church of Jesus Christ

Our Lord Jesus did not speak to Israel in parables until very near the end of his earthly ministry and until after the ruling class of Israel had denied his messianic and divine credentials in Matt 12. This is just after he had called his national officers, the 12 apostles and 70 elders, and...

The Danger of the Denial of the Pre-Trib Translation (Rapture) of the Church of Jesus Christ

One of the last questions the disciples of Jesus Christ asked him before he was arrested and tried and found guilty of a capitol crime and put to death without appeal. Matt 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of...

The Danger of the Denial of the Pre-Trib Translation (Rapture) of the Church of Jesus Christ

I do no know how many commentaries are on the market these days for free but there must be some else this charge against marketing the gospel would not make sense. Why would it be good for one to make money for their product and not good for the other? Somebody makes money off these commentaries...

The Thousand Year Reign of Christ on the Earth

Thanks for posting that. In the limited contact I have had with his preaching and teaching I consider Fruchtenbaum to be among the best dispensational expositors of these last days, when knowledge shall be increased. I think the above commentary is worthy of consideration.
