‘M.A.S.H.’ actor, Evanston native William Christopher dead at 84

Actor William Christopher, who played Father Francis Mulcahy on the television series “M.A.S.H.”, died Saturday at age 84.

He was one of my favorites in that show.

M*A*S*H was one of those that even the reruns were funny.

I loved his character. What a sweet man - and I only can imagine he was like that in real life.
