Born-again children of God should avoid exposing themselves to this un-biblical depiction of the life of Christ!

God's revealed will is for those He called out to separate from the "world".

Separate Separation Withdraw

2Cr 6:14 KJV - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Cr 6:15 KJV - And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2Cr 6:16 KJV - And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2Cr 6:17 KJV - Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

1Ti 6:3 KJV - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

1Ti 6:4 KJV - He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1Ti 6:5 KJV - Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

2Jo 1:9 KJV - Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2Jo 1:10 KJV - If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed:

2Th 3:6 KJV Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Rev 18:4 KJV - And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Do not expect God to bless you if you make no attempt to obey His revealed will!

Every one of the verses you have quoted refers to false doctrine that leads to unbelief, the loss of the soul.

The Chosen is not a false doctrine that leads to unbelief. If anything it brings attention to the salvation of the Lord.

I see a lot of things said and done not necessarily the way the Scripture presents it.

But it's a far cry from false doctrine leading one astray from salvation.

It is reported much oratory in The Chosen is not scriptural but is the product of mans imagination. Many of the details concerning the Apostles and other characters are made up.

(Gen 6:5 KJV) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.

Jesus Is the Law of Moses? Did The Chosen Get This Right? — Salty Believer
"Have you seen the season-three trailer for The Chosen? At the pinnacle moment of the trailer, when the building-music drops, a Pharisee threatens, "Jesus, if you do not renounce your words, we will have no choice but to follow the Law of Moses." Pause. Lean in. Wait for it... "I am the Law of Moses," says Jesus.

It's dramatic, but is it biblically accurate? Is Jesus the Law of Moses?

Of all the "I am" statements in the Bible, does Jesus ever say, "I am the Law"? No...he did not ever claim he was the Law."

This statement: "I am the Law", is a lie attributed to God. I consider that false doctrine!

(Tit 1:2 KJV) "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie...".

Yes, I have to agree there are some things not necessarily found in Scripture and didn't happen the way it's written there.

The part where Christ said, "I am the Law" registered with me though.

Every piece of furnishing in the OT tabernacle represented Christ in some way. All of the ceremonies represented Him in some way.

Christ said, "destroy this temple and in 3 days I will raise it again."

Revelation tells us the Lamb is the temple in New Jerusalem.

In a manner of speaking, I don't think they were too far off by saying Jesus is the Law.

(1Co 5:6 KJV) Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
(1Co 5:7 KJV) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
(1Co 5:8 KJV) Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.

Well, we disagree, Brother. Nothing in The Chosen takes away or leads away from the Lord's salvation.

I will say so far in the 4 seasons, I can't speak yet of the coming seasons.

I see The Chosen as bring Christ to the forefront.
