I'm telling you: I'm an independent with republican tendencies, but I'm not supporting the Republicans at all on this one....

I got as far as that wicked woman's picture and immediately knew this was bad news.

Just another reason why I believe they are all in cahoots. She told us once before "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it".

Why on earth is he doing the same thing?

Just who do these clowns think they work for?

That Conservative Review site linked to in the article is a hoot. They have a Conservative Index Score and assign grades A, B, C, D, and F to members of Congress. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) got a B. Lynn Westmoreland (R-TX) got a C. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) gets a "D". So does Bill Flores (R-TX). Peter King (R-NY) gets an F. So does John Boehner, Mike Rogers (R-AL), John Carter (R-TX), Kay Granger (R-TX).

Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) gets a D. Mitch McConnell, Bob Portman, John Thune, Bob Corker, Orrin Hatch, Lindsey Graham all get F's.

Meh. I prefer to examine as objectively as I can, rather than let those sites, or Rush or Sean tell me how I should think (I prefer Dennis Prager).

All I'm concerned with is Ryan's comment at the moment. And yes, I agree that it's quite Pelosi-ish.

And I should mention, I don't necessarily trust Breitbart, either. Tends to sensationalize just as much as the others.

Yes, I agree with you. It's just another data point that both parties will resort to tactics they condemn the other of doing if it advances their agenda.

This just makes no sense and EVERYBODY needs to be on the phone calling their representatives to not support this.

Why on earth would we negotiate in private with 600 companies that we, the people , can't know about when they are the ones who have sent all the jobs overseas?

Ronald Reagan is to blame. Since the founding of this country, those import taxes hadn't been changed and then he messed it up. It suddenly became cheaper for all those companies to send their manufacturing over seas and not have to worry about having to pay the difference to put the dollar on par with their prices.

So why would we do the things that go against the country's best interest? Could it be because certain people are in bed with these 600 countries who are in private negotiations?
