1.7 million to anyone who can prove Covid exists and causes disease and death

Million Dollars Offered For Proving COVID-19 Exists | NaturalHealth365

I had heard about the challenge and reward before.
It has to be proven according to Koch's disease postulates, which is a medical standard

So far no one has. You would think it would be easy seeing all the media coverage.

These postulates relate to the ability of a microorganism to cause disease and not necessarily the microorganism’s existence itself. Eckert claims that no one has yet been able to prove that the novel coronavirus meets these requirements as a disease-causing agent.

News outlets discussing Eckert’s challenge also cite a story claiming that a team of immunologists, and virologists, and other scientists from seven different universities – including the University of California, Cornell University, and Stanford University – recently tested at least 1,500 samples of people who tested positive for COVID-19 using electron microscope technology. Allegedly, these scientists found no evidence of the novel coronavirus within any of these samples, finding only Influenza A and Influenza B.

Abstract
The article provides information on the patent activity of inventors in relation to applications for inventions related to coronaviruses, in particular, to SARS-CoV-2. The presence of a steady interest in this topic for the period 1996-2020 is illustrated. It is indicated what objects of patent law can be inventions related to vaccines.

Keywords: Keywords: patent law; SARS-CoV-2; coronavirus; invention.

The problem is he wants people to prove it to him.

I can prove God exists. All Creation testifies to God's glory. But an atheist will never accept the proof.

The explanation and photos in post # four do not say that the virus was not created in a biological weapons lab.

I am sure people have tried to claim the prize, must fail the criteria in some way.

Yep. The criteria is the one offering the prize.

You can prove the existence of God (all creation testifies), the earth is round, and men landed on the moon. But still we have atheists, flat-earthers, and moon conspiracy theorists.

If I were offering a fortune to anyone who could prove a rock is hard nobody would meet my criteria. ;)

cite a story claiming that a team of immunologists, and virologists, and other scientists from seven different universities – including the University of California, Cornell University, and Stanford University – recently tested at least 1,500 samples of people who tested positive for COVID-19 using electron microscope technology. Allegedly, these scientists found no evidence of the novel coronavirus within any of these samples, finding only Influenza A and Influenza B.
And that story is, of course, a lie. From fact check:

A viral post claims Robert Oswald, a professor at Cornell University with a purported Ph.D. in virology and immunology and clinical lab scientist, tested 1,500 "supposed" COVID-19 samples in Southern California and found "not a single case of Covid" after testing them through a scanning electron microscope; only Influenza A and Influenza B were found in the samples.

Oswald works at the department of molecular medicine at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine and does not have a "PhD in virology," as claimed in posts. He has a doctorate in biochemistry, according to his faculty page, where he has also issued a statement debunking the information circulating online that is attributed to him.

"COVID-19 is real. Any Facebook post that suggests otherwise is a hoax and is not true," Oswald's wrote. "Wear a mask, practice social distancing, and get the vaccine when it becomes available."

Oswald told USA TODAY via email that the entire post is false and that he had nothing to do with it.

I assumed it was false (if scientists can tell the differences between covid varients....and they can....then they certainly can tell the difference between the influenza virus and the covid virus).

Side note.
Understand what is wrong with that statement.
Existence exists. Why would it need a God? Existence is not needing any proof here.

Go here:
Proving God exists.
I was thinking more along the lines of passages like Romans 1.

Paul tells us that knowledge of God and ven the Godhead is evidenced in Creation itself.

The problem is not a lack of proof but men denying what has been evidenced to them.

I started a link where this can be discussed.

This challenge gave rise to fake news and conspiracies about COVID. Some also used this to have an edge among others.

He just wants proof by the accepted scientific standard.
