My sister belongs to the Methodist church. She said several years ago the hierarchy gave local churches the option to “buy out” the property and such. They were shocked when do many began the process of leaving.
She said the Church is now attempting to slow down the exodus by claiming paperwork isn’t filled out correctly and such.
She also spoke of how the church leaders approved certain things (him:sex:Al pastors and such) even though the membership overwhelmingly voted against it.
No surprise the people are leaving
