I don't consider the Black Death as a natural disaster. In 1348-49 Jews were persecuted in central Europe on account of the Black Death. Those most likely responsible were counterfeit Jews or the descendents of Esau who unleashed this plague. Very similar to Aids of today which is not a natural disaster but genocide executed my man.

In 1348 there appeared in Europe a devastating plague which is reported to have killed off ultimately twenty-five million people. By the fall of that year the rumor was current that these deaths were due to an international conspiracy of Jewry to poison Christendom. It was reported that the leaders in the Jewish metropolis of Toledo had initiated the plot and that one of the chief conspirators was a Rabbi Peyret who had his headquarters in Chambéry, Savoy, whence he dispatched his poisoners to France, Switzerland, and Italy.

By authority of Amadeus VI, Count of Savoy, a number of the Jews who lived on the shores of Lake Geneva, having been arrested and put to the torture , naturally confessed anything their inquisitors suggested. These Jews, under torture, incriminated others. Records of their confessions were sent from one town to another in Switzerland and down the Rhine River into Germany, and as a result, thousands of Jews, in at least two hundred towns and hamlets, were butchered and burnt. The sheer loss of numbers, the disappearance of their wealth, and the growing hatred of the Christians brought German Jewry to a catastrophic downfall. It now began to decline and did not again play an important part in German life till the seventeenth century.

It is too bad you are still holding on to the hatred that led to the slaughter of thousands of innocent Jews.

You can't come to the realization there are two kinds of Jews in the world, real Jews who are the descendents of Jacob and counterfeit Jews who are the descendents of Esau. Like you and almost everyone else, are unable to distinguish the difference between the two. It is Esau who commits the crimes and Jacob takes the blame. People are not aware of Esau and his behavior and consequently Jacob falls victim of humanities perception. I am not anti-Semitic only against those who claim to be Jews and who are not and are liars.

Black Death

For over three hundred years, from the 1000's to the 1200's, the Christians raised a series of Crusades in an attempt to "rid Jerusalem of infidels," or non-Christians. Although the Crusades also attempted to displace Muslims, the Crusaders' widespread attacks on Jews throughout Western Europe and Germany began to form the early roots of anti-Semitism.

Christians created and popularized many cruel and negative mythologies (false stories) about Jews. The medieval Christians also accused the Jews of stealing children, drinking blood, and poisoning the "host" sacrament used in Christian "communion" rituals.

Moreover, the Christians blamed Jews for causing the epidemic of the bubonic plague, or "the Black Death" (really, it was rats that infected drinking water in wells). In the mid-1300s there were more than 350 pogroms during which Christians attacked over 200 Jewish communities and killed as many as 16,000 Jews. These actions forced the Jews to migrate into Eastern Europe, many settling in Poland.

I wanted to let you guys know of the blessed relief that our family has heard from a cousin who resides in Thailand. We thank the Lord for sparing Dom, but the devastation has meant legions of families are searching and grieving for lost ones.

We can do our bit by conributing as generously as we may for the relief of the afflicted. Disease is now the most looming disaster....measles, typhoid and cholera.
