I believe in freedom of speech. But I think we deserve to know the true originator of social media items or telephone calls promoting one party or a candidate. We most certainly need to protect our democracy from interference from foreign powers intent on taking us down. The general area of cybersecurity is a very important one today. I would include preventing the spread of false propaganda to be a part of this.

But how about this, is spreading one's political viewpoint through the use of false identities morally the same as spreading false information?
