    1) It's fairly difficult to intimidate people willing to kill themselves to kill you.

    2) Where is the support coming from? Not supporting the war in Iraq does not equal supporting these radicals.

If you want to go serve in Iraq, by all means, go right ahead, but I will not stand for you trying to send hundreds of thousands of more Americans for a pointless war.

Side note: Iraq is only the center of the war on terror because we have made it so. Thousands of troops in a power vacuum make a nice target for terrorists. If we ever get this worked out (which I don't think we will), we'll just have another theater.

There isn't a real "war on terror" anyway. It's a catchy phrase, but means nothing as long as our borders are still unprotected 5 years later and as long as we are still not coming down hard on those who support, propagate, and harbor terrorism (like CAIR, Hamas, Hezbollah, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and others)....

I think the majority of the American people have pretty much figured out the big "war on terrorism" hype by now...Too bad our young men and women are dying and having their arms and legs blown off for this phoney sham.

Ever wonder why billions of US dollars are going to build the largest US embassy in the world in Baghdad?

Round and round it goes. Our blood and treasure are supposedly in Iraq to help nation build that country for a so-called democracy while the elected Iraqi government makes trade agreements with Iran who is fueling the so-called insurgents. (In spite of campaign promises of "no nation building.")

But face the facts. All of the sacrifice is to help clear the way for Middle East Trade Agreements....and the globalists win again.

Jim, you are aware there are terrorist cells in Canada, correct?

And there is over 800 miles of wilderness between Canadian and Michigan border alone. Not to hijack the thread, but to answer your question:

Didn't say I want it locked down - better protected would be nice.

My last post on this matter.......We already have tight border controls..believe me..I try to get through several times a year...and even tougher to get back into Canada.

If you tighten our border anymore, there will be serious social and financial repercusions....ask the Northern states who are already feeling the border pinch.

A patroled border is impossible without spending billions of dollars..it is over 3000 miles long.

Canada proved that it has a sharp eye on perpetrators in Canada,,we have arrested several in just the last few years.

Further, the infamous 9-11 lot entered directly into the USA through air routes and not by land.

I think it is an unwarranted fear.........the terrorists have won!

    Cheers,

    Jim

Nonsense, I am sure you are well within the age of reenlistment. Now, either experience the sacrifice of those fighting for your freedom, or dont call for additional sacrifice.

    Sat

Give me your grid coordinates and you can experience some of your own advice . . . I can have recruiters there within the week . . . with paperwork . . . . well maybe - you have to be able to pass the physical . . . and you can't be a crack head.

    . . . challenge a marine's courage . . . then show some courage of your own.

    Go Army!

Well, as someone who cannot serve (I'm medically unfit)...

and someone who grew up with a disabled veteran...

Let us be very hesitant to put more of these brave men and women in the grave or in wheelchairs.

I am not for putting any of our men or women in harms way to protect a bunch of muslims . . . and earn their freedom for them.

But, I am morally offended when one would challenge the courage of my fellow veteran(s).

Except maybe . . . kerry . . . and it depends upon the mood I am in. And how recently someone called a veteran a coward for serving . . .

Well, its like this. Ive fought my war, many years ago. What have you done? I am going to guess absolutely nothing but wave a flag and sing the Stars Spangled Banner.

My guess would be that you learned very little of what you should have learned from that war . . .

Or, ya' woulda given a grid coordinate instead of hyperbole . . .

The fact remains that you talk lots, and contribute nothing. I think Walmart has flags on sale this week, better get them while they last.

Why shouldn't I expect you to mix up everything? You challenged a Marine's courage . . . with nothing but hyperbole to contribute.

I thank God that Marines still have the courage to protect our country even when you do not.

What does a Marines courage have to do with you? Nothing. I just realized you probably dont wave the American flag, with that silly flag you have as an icon.
