I was at Tractor Supply today plunking down $32 for a new snow shovel. They had a grand total of three in stock. Cashier lady says, "Kinda late in the season to be buying a shovel." I told her that I had worn out the old one and nobody let the weatherman know that it was too late in the season to snow.

The new shovel has a longer handle than the old one so I can pitch the snow over the banks along the driveway and sidewalks.

I know. I know. It has to get colder because it getting warmer. It is -5 right now and I'm thinking if I have to choose between Walter Cronkite and some climate change feller.... Hello, Walter. That's the way it is.....

Now, if you spent some time in Germany, esp on REFORGER - and you were in the field for weeks at a time - pulling guard duty, ect in that cold German winter - you wouldn't be complaining so much.
