2000 mules movie

Here's a thoughtful and evenhanded evaluation of "2,000 Mules," that includes what they got right, what they got wrong, and what they didn't prove. It's lengthy, but provides an excellent example of how to objectively assess the claims D'Souza makes:

An honest look at 2,000 Mules, the new stolen election story.
It was interesting. He spent the first section talking about himself and his credentials as unbiased, we’ll have to take his word.

He made one factually untrue statement early on that he used to undermine the movie. He claimed “the vote counting never stopped” that night. That is simply not true. There were official statements that election workers were stopping for the night and would come back the next day

He did get to the heart of the argument though. To prove the fraud, they will need to have video evidence of the same people going to the drop boxes multiple times. Even then, those folks will have to be interviewed by LEO to see if they have a reasonable explanation.

His statement they may have been delivering votes for family or friends sounds a little stretched to me, but that, in itself isn’t proof of criminal wrongdoing. Evidence beyond reasonable doubt is still the standard.

He also failed to mention long-standing Dem opposition to drop boxes as prone to fraud.

So, I wouldn’t agree he was “even handed”, but he made valid points to challenge the conclusions of DD.

Hopefully, an fair minded investigation will reveal the truth, but I’m not holding my breath.

Thanks for sharing the link.

peace to you

So what people like that do is that they will find some points they can agree with, but do not effect their ability to undermine the whole thing, and take those up in a feigned attempt to look unbiased. All the while working to try to tear it down. Its amazing the number of people who do not want these issues looked into. Its unAmerican, ungodly, dishonest, and biased.

"unbiased"??? This guy, little millennial Isaac Saul? Just because he says he's "non-partisan" does not make it so. He is a lefty hack with a personal mission to convince others that 2020 was the freest most fairest electiion EVUH:

Early Life and Career
Saul was born on May 14, 1981. He first became interested in journalism during his time at Pennsbury High School in Pennsylvania, and got his first job in news while he was an undergraduate student in nonfiction writing at the University of Pittsburgh.[5] He later began work at the Huffington Post, which he left in 2014.[6] After this, Saul helped to found a "positive journalism" site called A Plus News, as well as his newsletter Tangle. During the course of his career as a reporter, Saul has covered issues mainly related to American politics[7] and Sport.[8] His reporting on an encounter that he had with a controversial lawyer named Aaron Schlossberg was featured in a live broadcast on CNN in 2018.[9] Although his stated mission is to be "independent" and "non-partisan" in his reporting, he has also worked as an opinion editor for several major magazines and published several editorials stating his opinions on specific political candidates.[10]

Saul's work in reporting drew particular praise during the Attempts to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election to the 2020 US presidential election, when he attempted to debunk as many Conspiracy theory and allegations of Electoral fraud fraud as possible. As part of this, he published a running string of Twitter where he challenged his readers to find an instance of alleged voter fraud that he couldn't disprove, which was retweeted over 26,000 times.[11] When interviewed about this effort later, Saul said that he was frustrated with the sheer volume of election fraud claims that he had to contend with, saying that "new lies just kept pouring in."[12] He also expressed concern that some of the conspiracy theories which alleged that poll workers had been responsible for the fraud could put the lives of these workers in danger.[13]

deny deny deny, that's what they do.

If it is false, it needs to be torn down, bias or no bias.

In fact, disciples of Jesus are required to be committed to the truth, whatever it is. For instance:

Ephesians 4:25 (Amplified Bible)
Therefore, rejecting all falsehood [whether lying, defrauding, telling half-truths, spreading rumors, any such as these], SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are all parts of one another [and we are all parts of the body of Christ].

Ephesians 5:11
Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them...

Leviticus 19:11
You must not steal. You must not lie or deceive one another.

Proverbs 24:28
Do not testify against your neighbor without cause, and do not deceive with your lips.

Zechariah 8:16
These are the things you must do: Speak truth to one another, render true and sound judgments in your gates...

Truth is the issue, not any bias. Is his reasoning and command of facts sound or not? If not, then critique the argument or disputed facts. Truth is available to all people, not just those with whom we agree. I don't happen to agree with the guy on some minor points, but his reasoning is solid and the basic facts of the election are as he says.

Discernment is one of the most basic of Christian responsibilities. A disciple of Christ rejoices with the truth and embraces it. A disciple does not attacks those who bear the truth.

Its amazing the number of people who do not want these issues looked into. Its unAmerican, ungodly, dishonest, and biased.
They've been repeatedly "looked into." In fact, a federal judge examined the Kraken lawsuit's contentions and spent some time pointing out the knowing falsehoods, disregard for even the most rudimentary legal due-diligence, and the extensive unsupported assertions made, leading to legal sanctions for the attorneys (see pages 14-19 and 58-102).

This "2000 Mules" theory of fraud has been examined by experts and well as regular people who note that D'Souza did not actually make a case for anything other than that certain people passed by certain places on the map on a regular basis. Most people have regular routes to work and home, plus there are many persons who work jobs in pickup/delivery who travel the same routes every day. The purpose of my post was to help others "look into" these matters without falling under the spell of the medium of film to emotionally manipulate. So you should be grateful for my contribution, not grumbling about it.

Moreover, the Dominion lawsuits will go through every scrap of evidence available where someone has claimed fraud, since Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, Fox News, etc., will have their day in court to defend themselves in front of a jury of their peers. Dominion's business is ruined, so they are highly unlikely to settle, since it is (in my opinion) a slam-dunk case. Sidney Powell's attorneys have already tried the Oprah/Tucker Carlson defense (“No reasonable person would conclude that the statements were truly statements of fact” -- cited at the bottom of page 27 to the top of page 27 aka "Page 37 of 54 in the linked PDF document), to no avail.

It is relevant to note that none of Trump's attorneys claimed -- IN COURT -- that there was fraud. They only claimed fraud outside of the courtroom where there are fewer consequences for dishonesty.

These issues have been looked into repeatedly, and while there have been some instances of voter fraud (for instance, Mark Meadows being registered to vote in three states), there has been no evidence of election fraud.

Set aside your feelings, Trump lost in 2020. Move on.

Conjecture and ad hominem

Conjecture.

A more likely scenario is that he understood the claims were frivolous (like most of us did) yet also fairly objective claims that could be investigated. I did some of that myself (and am doing it now), but so many people here are emotionally invested in Trump and the narrative they have embraced for the last seven years they cannot afford to think rationally.

deny deny deny, that's what they do.
Denial has no political bias. I suggest you are in the midst of denial of rationality at this moment.

no, he's not going to get away with saying he's unbiased and nonpartisan because .. . . he's not. Look at Saul's twitter feed, he votes just like YOU do.

I wrote that I despised Hillary Clinton. Today, I want to publicly take it all back

well, I don't think you ever were a Bernie bro, but you voted for Biden just like this guy did. Little Isaac is totally silent about the fraud Hillary and Biden committed against his candidate but then the DNC has long tolerated election fraud. And perpetuated it and tried to explain it away. Fraud..

Point relative to that statement. Don't know about everywhere but we have taped evidence in Atlanta even though they had sent people home two or three were still counting.

George makes my point about repubs are in on the fraud. That Gov and SOS in GA said “nothing to see here. No problem they sent poll watchers, media and reubs home and then pulled totes of ballots from under tables to count.”

Peace to you

More progress toward justice in Arizona:

True the Vote to present ballot harvesting evidence before Arizona lawmakers

"True the Vote Founder Catherine Engelbrecht will present the election integrity watchdog organization’s findings from its investigation into 2020 election fraud before Arizona lawmakers on Tuesday.

The hearing, announced Thursday by the Arizona State Republican Caucus, will relate specifically to cases of ballot harvesting uncovered in Maricopa and Yuma counties.

The announcement comes on the heels of the release of “2000 Mules,” filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza’s latest documentary detailing True the Vote’s efforts to uncover fraud in the 2020 presidential election. The film features video surveillance footage of what appear to be ballot traffickers, or “mules,” illegally stuffing ballot drop boxes with ballots allegedly obtained from nonprofit organizations.

Notably, the documentary features an interview with one of those mules – with their identity disguised – during which the individual openly admits to illegally trafficking ballots in Yuma County."

yes, but DD didn't do the videotape of the AZ election thief, that one was filmed by some write-in candidate:

Arizona woman allegedly coordinated ballot collection scheme (ktar.com)

and also allegations of fraud in this year's GA primary:

DeKalb commission candidate asks elections board not to certify results (ajc.com)

back to the mule thing, I still haven't seen it, I'm convinced there was wide-spread fraud but from what I see, this documentary needs to release some names of the NGOs these mules supposedly went to. There are other things, mathematically impossible statistics, 100% turnout in ALL WI nursing homes, don't really need this, but according to this poll:

‘2000 Mules’: Documentary’s Message Resonates With Voters - Rasmussen Reports®

Among voters who have seen “2000 Mules,” 85% of Republicans, 68% of Democrats and 77% of unaffiliated voters say the movie strengthened their conviction that there was systematic and widespread election fraud in the 2020 election.

for real?
