One also might inquire where the widespread left-wing outrage was five years ago when about 100 people tried to illegally cross the border near the San Ysidro, California, port of entry — and threw rocks and bottles at Border Patrol agents — and those agents responded by pepper spraying the crowd back into Mexico, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

So it seems this kind of activity didn't count as requiring the curse words then but somehow it does now.

The right thinks they are at the right hand of God and the left are at the left hand of God. But God calls men from both the left and the right to go within and bring forth the kingdom of heaven through accepting Jesus Christ. I simply focus on the crux of the issue......man's spirituality.

Both sides are playing a role in dividing the country. Satan is smarter than most but not smarter than the few.

What it does IMO is clear out the food fog in the brain to help one think clearer (besides being good for what ails you).

Of course you don't because you are a protestant. Only bible believing persons believe what the scriptures say. People like you claim scripture alone but when it comes to things which challenge a Protestant philosophy it is unimportant and of no value.

Protestants are all about the precepts of men , all about definitions based in men's philosophies. Nothing which is of the heart.

God rewards those who fast. Why? because you deny the flesh for Him so there is a spiritual benefit....that which comes from God. You decide of what value that is to you, I believe it is of great value concerning God.

Yes OLW I agree, it leads to a spiritual value of great degree.

I find a prolonged fast clears the flesh of its lust for food.
Not that food in and of itself is evil, Jesus ate and drank with sinners (like you and I).

There is a kind of "sleep" and "drunkenness" we are in while we live our lives here on planet earth.

1 Thessalonians 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

Denying the flesh LEADS to spiritual reality. It is not reality itself.
