If I can give a "brief" outline, I think I can help ya to understand the "rapture".
Jesus came to Israel (fig tree) but they rejected him, (no fig harvest) because he would not
give them the "Signs and wonders" they demanded/expected, so he withered up the "fig
tree" and proceeded to the Gentiles.
Without "Signs and wonders" Jews will not believe, ( Joh 4:48 ) for the Jew requires a
"sign". ( 1Co 1:22 )
To the Gentiles (Church) Jesus said he was the "VINE" and the "Church" was the "Branch".
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches:
Now James ask a very important question.
Jas 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs?
If a "VINE" can't bear "Figs" (Jews) how are they saved???
The Church "IS NOT" the "Fig tree", but merely a "Branch" graffed in.
Salvation is only through JESUS, but JESUS doesn't bring Israel to salvation, GOD DOES.
Here's what God said to Jesus:
Mt 22:44 The LORD (God) said unto my Lord, (Jesus) Sit thou on my right hand, till I
make thine enemies thy footstool?
While God deals with Israel (Tribulation period) Jesus and his "Bride" are enjoying the
"Marriage Supper".
The parable of Matt 22 tell that the Jews are not worthy to attend the wedding.
Mt 22:8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden
were not worthy.
During the Tribulation period, "everything" is in the "physical realm", (Jesus's kingdom is
"spiritual) even Satan is "incarnated" in his son the antichrist, Moses and Elijah, "Two
witnesses" (Law and prophets, ) return, "Signs and wonders" return, Temple sacrifices
return, exactly as God deal with Israel in the OT.
The parable of Matt 20 tell that the church has "borne the heat of the day for the Gospel,
while the Jews have been "enemies of the gospel", ( Ro 11:28 ) but in the last "HOUR"
they will work for the gospel and be restored back to "FIRST PLACE". This "same hour"
the Jews work is also the "same hour" Jesus promised to keep the church from:
Re 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the
hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the
earth.
Jesus promised that the "gates of Hell" would not prevail against "his Bride", but during
the tribulations Satan does prevail.
Da 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
Re 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:
and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
There's only a 144,000 sealed, all Jews, the locust who come from Hell torment all who
don't have the "Seal", ( Re 9:4 ), if the church was here, they too would be praying to die.
Jesus reaping and "Angel reaping" are exact opposites of each.
Jesus reapings are "righteous", "going up" leaving the wicked, (for tribulation)
Angel reaping are "Wicked", "going down" leaving the righteous (for Millennium). Wheat
and tares.
Day of Christ, Jesus is "bridegroom" coming for his bride. (Rapture)
Day of the Lord, Jesus is "Lord of Lords", (millennium Reign)
Day of God, Jesus is "King of Kings", (Great White throne judgment)
These are but a "few" of the changes the "Rapture" will make, "In the twinkling of an eye",
this world will pass from a world ruled by "Jesus's spiritual kingdom" to the "literal"
ruling "physical kingdom of "Satan",(antichrist).
