I was watching an interview with the Congressman from Louisana. He is concerned about Parishes near New Orleans that aren't on the news.

In his interview he said something about talking to a doctor that was at that make-shift hospital they set up at the airport and said he was told they were averaging 5 to 10 deaths an hour. I keep hoping I heard him wrong, or that he spoke wrong.

I heard on the news this morning that a two year old was trampled to death. This gets more heartbreaking by the minute.

My sister-in-law works at a hospital in Slidell. She confirmed that what was going on in the Superdome was true. She said women are coming there absolutely traumatized by what they experienced there.

She can't go to her house alone because it's too dangerous. Her husband is in the Navy's Special Forces and his unit is deployed to New Orleans. It'll probably be the most dangerous mission he has faced.

Someone living in the Biloxi area told a friend up here that, whenever they move some rubble, they're finding corpses. The death toll will be multiples of the original estimate.

What happened at the Superdome would keep me far away from any shelters if a hurricane came where I live. I hope that they can find the people that were involved.
