56% of Americans Say: "Get a Warrant, President Bush!"

Boy, I find myself torn on this issue as well. While I tend to lean in agreement with hillclimber's previous post, you certainly hit home on Roosevelt's Executive Order 9066. These weren't foreigners, but US citizens, the majority natural born, and many who were 2nd or 3rd generation American.

I know familes who were interred there. Terrible. A gross and abominable injustice. Something to think about. What's to prevent this from legally happenning again?? I know more than a few people who would be happy to see a Manzanar-esque interment of Arab Americans, even if they're native born citizens.

 

Executive Orders are already in place to make all this discussion moot when Martial Law is evoked. Wait until the next terror attack in simultaneous American cities. You'll see. Better stock up on plenty of dog food, Ken. Our cat has a stockpile on hand. Kitty Litter, too.
