"Up next in the Monsterverse is Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. The sequel to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will be the sixth Godzilla film to be fully produced by a Hollywood studio (rather than a Japanese production house) and the sixth film in the celebrated Monsterverse franchise. With a release date of March 26, 2027, this will also be the 40th film featuring the kaiju, Godzilla, and the 14th featuring the giant ape, King Kong.
