Today is 6 Jun - 72 years ago, thousands of Allied GI's invaded France to liberate that country.

Our local Time Warner 24 Hour news station made no mention of it, until I called them later in the day.

Sad, so sad.

And to think, had this not occurred, Europe just may have been "HEIL"ing today!!
