Here's yesterday's:

"Hey, I'm a nationalist and a globalist. I'm both" Trump said.

And from April 28:
Trump on getting things done in government: "It's a very rough system. It's an archaic system...It's really a bad thing for the country."

Wow. A representative Republic is a really bad thing for the country.

The "system" was fundamentally transformed. Putting words in his mouth, aren't you ?

Well, we've got two gaffes today.

Trump was asked by CBS' John Dickerson if he stood by his claim that Obama wiretapped him.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: I don't stand by anything. I just-- you can take it the way you want. I think our side's been proven very strongly. And everybody's talking about it. And frankly it should be discussed.

Good to know that you are admitting you don't have many core values. We already knew that, but nice that you confirm it.

In an interview with Sirius XM Politics Trump went on about Andrew Jackson:

"I mean if Jackson had been a little later, you wouldn't have had the Civil War. He was a very tough person, but he had a big heart and he was really angry that he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War. He said, 'There's no reason for this," Trump said.

Jackson died in 1845. The Civil War began in 1861. Jackson wasn't saying much about the Civil War from the grave.

Trump then went on to say that "people don't ask why was there a Civil War?"

Actually, Mr. Trump, people have asked why there was a Civil War.

Your hatred of Trump makes you say stupid things. Jackson is credited with stopping a civil war on his watch. Actually widely credited with it.

I assume you are referring to the Nullification Crisis that happened under Jackson's watch. That almost set off a civil war and is considered by historians as a precursor to the Civil War.

Andrew Jackson was anything other than a "big-hearted man" as Trump called him.

  1. He was a slave owner.
  2. He is the reason for the "Trail of Tears".
  3. He was involved in three duels
  4. He told his soldiers to kill Indian women and children
Somehow I doubt Trump's words and Jackson and his wife. Jackson said:

Heaven will be no heaven to me if I do not meet my wife there. Andrew Jackson Wife, Me, Heaven
