Italian Epidemiologist: 90% of New Coronavirus Cases Are Asymptomatic

If anyone has noticed in the US, the explosion in positive cases, these people for the most part are also not sick. Yet the MSM, Fauci, stat governors, are all predicting mass casualties. We however are seeing the new infections be mild in most people with no symptoms even, so the virus has obviously changed. Fauci does think the virus has mutated to become more infectious, yet they wont say that it is causing less illness. That does not fit the talking points narrative they are preaching fear and death constantly, for IMO, political points in favor of Democrats, who have decimated the economy and living.

Coronavirus the Third-Leading Cause of Death in the U.S. [link]

"Covid is now the No. 3 cause of death in the US ― ahead of accidents, injuries, lung disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's, and many, many other causes.” (heart disease and cancer being #1 and #2)

The coronavirus has caused more than 170,000 deaths in the United States and has been taking more than 1,000 lives weekly for several weeks.

"Last week, Americans were eight times more likely to get killed by Covid than were Europeans”

The University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation predicted August 6 that 300,000 people will die of the virus by December 1, according to a news release on the group's website.

But the IHME forecast is based on 50% of Americans wearing face masks. If 95% wore masks, the number of deaths could be cut by 66,000, the IHME said.

"We're seeing a rollercoaster in the United States," IHME Director Dr. Christopher Murray said. "It appears that people are wearing masks and socially distancing more frequently as infections increase, then after a while as infections drop, people let their guard down and stop taking these measures to protect themselves and others ― which, of course, leads to more infections. And the potentially deadly cycle starts over again."

Not all Americans are 8 times more likely to die. About 90% of deaths are above age 55 with serious pre-existing conditions.

Peace to you

So one of the possible reasons that Italians are seeing Covid cases with less symptoms is that early on they abandoned the care of the vulnerable population.
Younger people survive the virus better, the younger the better chances you have.

That’s part of the difficulty with opening schools.
It’s not the kids we are particularly worried about (their odds of dying are slim).
But the kids bring it home to mom and dad. Mom and dad spread it in the work place or to their parents... and the whole cycle begins again.

Early on there was no care because there was no treatment to make people get better, just supporting care like breathing apparatus. And that still officially true in the USA, as in no care just supporting treatments, they have no real good approved drugs that they will admit do work. So they watch you die with your ventilator inside you. You get better on your own or you lay there till your dead in the hospital.
The most vulnerable in the population are those with diabetes and also old people 80 and older. Italy has millions in population and their average age is 10 years older than the USA. Not all the most vulnerable Italians got sick and died off, if that was true, millions of Italians would be dead, so you might want to rethink your reasoning.
