There is nothing wrong with the demands being made of the Palestinians. For decades the ONLY entity that was being called on to make sacrifices and compromises was Israel. Now, for the first time, the Palestinians are having to actually be equal partners and they have to give up something, they have to compromise and make concessions on things they previously refused to do.

The problem here is that you can't respond to real historical data. The historical data speaks louder than I can. That "massacre" was not employed by the state of Israel. And secondly, it was in response to numerous massacres of Jews. In addition, Deir Yassin was bombing Jewish forces from its position and was thus a legitimate military target.

It was not a massacre; it was a battle and the Jewish forces that attacked it were met with ferocious gunfire and lost at least 4 men in the course of the battle.

As for the civilians, the Haganah gave them safe passage out of the area prior to the attack, as they had given prior warning that the attack was coming. And it was not to force them to flee their homes, but to stop the bombing of the Haganah along the supply route that sat below the village.

Nelson Mandela's grandson doesn't know what he is talking about.

Today, within Israel, Jews are a majority, but the Arab minority are full citizens with voting rights and representation in the government. Under apartheid black South Africans could not vote and were not citizens of the country in which they are the overwhelming majority of the population. So there can be no Apartheid in Israel. Any claim it is in Israel is a claim made in ignorance.
