sn, I'm not here to defend Rippon in particular, but I've noticed how often you castigate people on this forum for not being civil or nice; yet I look at your post here as an example of that which you so often denounce.

Sorry, but I do not agree. Look at my statement and compare it to the statements he makes about people preaching or believing a different gospel, or hinting at someone not being saved.
We are both right around 8 posts a day average...and the majority of mine are not pages in length
What does that say..."Vast amount of time" was about 20 minutes. I didn't pull up dirt. I documented that he was not telling the truth by quoting his very words.
You have about twice my daily post count WD. You must be wasting LOTS of time.
Fine, you don't have to accept my rebuke, but I am being honest when I say that your posts come across just as caustic as those you claim are caustic. You may think your reason to be caustic is noble, but we should try to reach a higher standard, myself included.
Looking at your statements should bring you to your knees.

My posts do not consist of research on other members, so probably not. I don't think I have spent 20 minutes on any one post in 6 years that didn't include Scripture. I think the casual reader can see the difference.

Just from reading Rippon's posts, I could never set down and have a civil discussion with him/her. Anyone that cannot see the attitude he/she portrays in their posts is willingly blind.
Andy T., where is your rebuke of Rippon? Fair is fair.
I suppose we could all sit around and rebuke each other all day long, but I was just struck by the apparent hypocrisy of SN's constant rebuking of others (not just in this thread, but all over the board).
You have nothing better to do than troll. Why don't you buy a new dress and get your day off to a good start?
There is no equivalency. SN makes things up out of the air on a regular basis and lobs whatever is easiest to throw in my direction. It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense or that he is bearing false witness --or being nasty because he has anger issues unrelated to me.
What you need to do B4L, is to have something constructive to say once in a blue moon.
