I used to live in the Bluefield area, when I managed a Christian radio station. If I was still there, you can bet, we would have talked about that!

Good for the Prez!

Bluefield area is beautiful, I have stayed over there on trips south. I have a lot of family history in Virginia, still some living in Goochland, the home of Justin Verlander, who made them proud, heh.

Bluefield is a Southern Bap College. (one of my former employees attended there)

I'm just wondering if they need to have a Freshman course in responsbility - ie obeying those who have rule over you, give to Ceaser....

Remember some of those players may be your pastor one of theses days.

Kudos to this Prez.

His students have succumbed to the world...they should now be expelled.

Bluefield is a Southern Bap College....some of those players may be your pastor one of theses days.

Bluefield College President David Olive Continues Conversation

"I shared with the basketball team: I will kneel with you anywhere at any time as an expression of my solidarity with you to bring about racial justice and equality, except during the National Anthem. I am with you. The College’s leadership is with you. With God’s help and his endless mercy and grace, we will make a positive impact in raising awareness of racial injustices and bringing about change.”

"I shared our ideas of what we thought were more constructive ways to have their message of racial injustice heard. Some of those ideas were having: a student athlete read a statement about racial injustice over the PA system before each home game, as well as for all teams’ home games; the team taking a knee during their introductions; the team taking a knee at tip-off."

Be careful guys, Southern Baptist part-time sports broadcaster in Oklahoma just got caught on hot mike criticizing kneelers:

"I have never considered myself to be racist, and in short cannot explain why I made these comments."

"Diabetes...I do not believe that I would have made such horrible statements absent my sugar spiking."

"I specifically apologize to the Norman High School girls basketball team. their families, their coaches and their entire school system."

Statement from Matt Rowan • Tahlequah Daily Press • 12 March 2021

The media continues to carry leftist’ water. It’s who they are. Wonder if the families of the students are proud? They get to pay for having their kids brainwashing, & losing them forever. Been there, done that, of course it should have been more obvious to me allowing my kid to attend the University of Michigan. It was 20 yrs ago though, & I was a fan of their sports, so..........

The Perry Wallace “Most Courageous” Award • United States Basketball Writers Association
The national award, which is presented at the Final Four each year, recognizes a player, coach, official or administrator who has demonstrated extraordinary courage reflecting honor on the sport of amateur basketball.
[The award bears the name of] Perry Wallace, a brilliant man and pioneer who stands as one of the most courageous figures in the history of college basketball....Wallace made Southeastern Conference history as the SEC’s first African-American basketball player.

Sure do. And scripturally God gives them over. Romans 1.
One of my kids went away to university and after a few years working as an RN turned into a changed 'woke' person, hates Trump, became agnostic, no absolute truths, Christ not the only way to heaven.
It is their choice to be swayed, to be influenced, it is on them, God did not sway them to forget Him and become like that.
Our family prays she will be born of God and know the truth, cause growing up in our family, church, youth group, many mission trips over seas, apparently, she was not.
