SEC champ: Georgia
Big Ten champ: Wisconsin
ACC champ: Clemson
Big 12 champ: TCU
PAC champ: Washington

Which one(s) will be bumped from the 4-team playoff: TCU

National Champion: Georgia

Will Notre Dame make playoff? No; but will if at least 2 conference champs have =>2 losses [I predict 2 losses for ND]

Conf. team with best chance to make playoff as non-champ of conf.: Auburn

Heisman Trophy winner: RB Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin

If you care to, answer these same ?'s or post others.

Pretty good though I’m not ready to write off Ohio State.

When Ohio St. plays TCU at Arlington on 9-15, how both teams play may be an indication of whether these predictions seem competent. TCU is quick, and that's how Ohio St. is beaten when they are and why they have lost so many to SEC teams in bowls.

Agreed. That’s an early test for sure and the whole Meyer thing may play a part.

SEC champ: Bama -- Still the one to beat.
Big Ten champ: Ohio State -- But Meyer should still be fired.
ACC champ: Clemson -- No one else is even close.
Big 12 champ: West Virginia -- They play OU and TCU at home; hard to beat them in Morgantown.
PAC champ: Washington

Which one(s) will be bumped from the 4-team playoff: Washington - and WV if Notre Dame makes it in.

National Champion: Clemson

Will Notre Dame make playoff? If they have only one loss, they will make it in.

Conf. team with best chance to make playoff as non-champ of conf.: Georgia

Heisman Trophy winner: Too early to tell.

You're right-- so far. But how likely are they to have another 'Iowa game' this year? Penn St. would like to "wite out" that game last week. I'm sure. And that's not a spelling error....
