I would think they could make more on the house if they did not advertise it by saying Biden once lived there. Biden supporters would know he lived there anyway and be willing to pay more because of that. Non-Biden supporters if they learned it was once his residence would not want anything to do with the place.
To me, the history of the house would be a turn off. I would not want people stopping in front of my house and going "Joe Biden lived in that house while he was in law school." That would get old real quick.

I doubt many people outside of Syracuse know where the house is - and even many in the City/County may not know where the house is. I knew about - but wasnt sure exactly where it was. Until I looked it up. BTW - I only live about a mile and half from his house (when he was living there) as a kid!
Then they would want to know where it is!
Thats you - some people would love it! I'm sure I'm sure that some would want to be out front all the time to welcome visitors! Remember we are all different!
Mrs Salty and I went to Jamestown, NY; to see the Lucy Ball museum. While we were in town, we drove by the two different houses that Lucy lived in as a child. One of them had warning signs - with cameras - ect. But Mrs. Salty got a kick out of seeing the houses.
Some day Bidens house may end up on the National Historical list - as have many other homes of Presidents.
