Here is another example why no military person who has been in the war should ever be allowed on a civilian police force. PTSD is just too uncontrollable and unpredictable.

I missed the part in the article that says that the pilot is military, was ever in a war or suffers PTSD.

Can you cite it for me?

Freeatlast- I'd like to know what you would say your motivation is for your multiple threads and posts claiming that veterans (ex military, as you put it) ought to be disqualified from law enforcement positions because of a categorical predisposition to act violently without proper discretion.

As I see it, you are either:

A. A troll who is trying to get a rise out of those who have served.
B. An individual who for whatever reason, whether because of ideology or personal experience, has a deep-seated resentment toward the military and seeks a venue to vent your hatred.
C. An individual who did not serve, feels an inadequacy because of it, and must insult those who have to bolster your self-esteem.

Whatever your motivation, surely you cannot be so dense as to not know your repeated assertion (without evidence to back up your theory) is viewed as insulting by others here.

Nahhh... he's just one of those people who confuses his uninformed opinion with truth.

It doesn't matter to him what anyone thinks because he is telling the "truth".

Providing evidence doesn't matter to him because he is telling the "truth".

He believes that repeating the same "truth" over and over will somehow convince someone because it is the "truth".

Words cannot describe the idiocy of the OP of this thread.

I can only assume that FAL saw the title "Captain" and immediately assumed it was related to military.

I'm reporting the opening post for being a blatant lie. I encourage others to do the same.

It's not my intent or motive to withhold FAL's freedom of speech; but I am worried about his mental capacity, and allowing him to continue with these unfounded lies only serves to give him some form of mental confirmation that he's "right."

Sounds like there could be some pride involved.

Nah...FAL doesn't sin.

A disgruntled passenger aboard a US Airways flight from North Carolina to Florida was reportedly arrested Tuesday night after witnesses say she attacked crew members before being wrestled to the floor.

She was obviously prior military.

A husband and wife have been charged with the murder of Vermont teacher Melissa Jenkins, authorities said Wednesday.

They were both obviously prior military.

A woman who was mauled and severely injured by an out-of-control chimpanzee and is now suing the state of Connecticut says Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, as then-mayor of Stamford, knew the animal was dangerous.

Of course, that chimp was involved in military experiments, so can be considered prior military.

Proof? I don't need to provide proof. You prove I'm wrong.

Sorry, folks. Hope everyone realizes the last couple of posts were meant to make a point, not be taken seriously.

Sorry, you'd have to recruit 4Fs as policemen after WW2. From Pearl Harbor though Vietnam, police forces in America drew from the pool of veterans. And when you consider the number of hours required for a commercial pilot license, historically the only place to get them was in the military.

As for editing or closing this thread, I'll let the light of truth do its work.
