They weren't Greeks. (I'm a Greek originally). Scholarship says they were Greeks. The Bible is categorical that they were Hamitic Egyptians:

Maybe there is academic division but the Philistines of Scripture, such as Goliath came from the islands of the Aegean Sea and were Greek or Greek related. This is confirmed by the Encyclopedia Britannica. Other sources have said that their pottery came from the Aegean Sea area and that the Greeks recognized them and the Romans learned of them from the Greeks. Palestine is just the Latin word for Philistine. Clearly, they are all dead and the people in Gaza are Arabs.

It is certain that they were not Arabs and the people in Gaza now are Arabs.

I believe that the jihadi psycopaths after the death of Mohammed murdered everyone who did not convert to Islam. That is the reason that many ancient peoples have disappeared--they were absorbed into the Arab world or they were murdered by the Arabs.
