IMO, Truman, the most underrated president of modern times.

He had the courage to do the unthinkable - and thereby saved countless lives and the world from the tyranny of Hirohito (who paid a horrible price)!

I agree Hank. I believe history will judge him as a great president. We are too near to his term for a definite analysis to be made. I have read that is not possible for at least 100 years from a president's term of service.

He did have a horrible decision to make. But, IMHO, he saved millions of lives, American, allied and Japanese, by making the decision that he made.

The government needs to stop all the handouts. If you don't work, you don't eat. I see able bodied people in cities all the time during the middle of the day, drinking, smoking, and taking drugs. How can they do this? It's simple, Uncle Sam provides them with money (welfare), food (SNAP), and housing (Section 8). All for free. Stop the handouts - no work, no food.
