:wavey: Good evening! I am new to this forum, and so very thankful to have found it. It is such a blessing to be able to interact with other like-minded people. I am an Irish lass residing in north Texas. I work as a legal secretary, never married, and enjoy a quiet life with my two naughty little cats. I know I will learn so much from everyone here, and wish to express my appreciation in advance for the many blessings I anticipate receiving and friends I know I will make here!

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Psalm 133:1

I will be the second one from the Empire State to welcome you.

(and if Padre is one his toes, he will be #3:smilewinkgrin:)

I may be a Yankee by birth, but I am a Texan by choice. Would love to come back to the Lone Star State. Lived at Fort Hood, for 5 years.

Brother Salty, to make you wish even more that you were here--it was 77 degrees today with beautiful blue skies, and has been like that for the past several days! I have driven to and from work every day this week with the sunroof open. We'll get rain on Friday, and a cold front will come through. The high will be in the mid-60's after that! (Are you packing yet??)

You were stationed at Ft. Hood? Did you know any of the people who were wounded last year?

Oh, and I forgive you for being a Yankee. :tongue3:

Wait a minute!! Did you say Empire State? You're in New York?????? GIT A ROPE!!!!

I'm the 2d one from the Volunteer State to welcome you!

(And don't forget, Sam Houston and Davy Crockett also came from the Volunteer State!)

BTW, I've been to Plano a couple times on business-related trips.

#3.

Actually #2. Ann is from Lawng OY-lun which is not really part of New York. North of I-90 is where the deer and black bears play. It was 28 degrees this morning. If this keeps up I may have to get a sweater.

Greetings from Kentucky, the home of beautiful horses and fast women.

Oh, wait, that's not right. The home of beautiful women and fast horses. Whew, sorry.

Greetings. I am in Plano right now, at work. Today we have gone from skies overcast to gray w/downpour, to blue again, to another gray w/downpour, and now just overcast.
