A public lie and my aplogy

Chatting with this one woman has made me think a little more but to be exact I had said I had led no one to the lord and this was completely false as I forgot about someone back in SC. I had witnessed to him one week and the next week he came up to me excited and jumpy and said he had gotten saved because of my witness. I said congrats and basically left him alone without getting his number, giving him a Bible, and or a good book on the Christian faith for new believers so my response to him was cold and lacked discipleship. I regret that and will do differently in the future. So my apology to the board for lying.

John, a lie is when you intentionally claim something that is false for a sinful motive.

Forgetting something and then correcting yourself after you remember is not a lie. There was no need for an apology. It's good though, that you see now what to do when someone you witness to is saved by God.

Oops thanks for the correction.
