No offense because the foundation of what you say is good, however, scripture does not say believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and oppose same sex relationships and thou shall be saved.
Also, there is no candidate running who is without sin. Supporting that candidate is supporting their sin by your theory. That means you shouldn't vote for anyone.
Believers are “in Christ” by the Spirit of Christ within (1 John 5:10-13), but we are not spiritually born again to be alive together with the Spirit of Christ and saved until we repent to live a “just” or “righteous” lifestyle. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for,
The just shall live by faith (Galatians 3:11). If you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live (Romans 8:13). And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts (Galatians 5:24).
He who practices righteousness is righteous (just), (1 John 3:7b).
God justifies (forgives) us as we repent and confess our trespasses until we are justified when forgiven of all trespasses to be made the righteousness of God as the Spirit of Christ (the Righteous One) becomes the life within us. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Everyone who practices righteousness (lives a righteous lifestyle) is born of Him.
everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him (1 John 2:29b).
In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest:
Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother (1 John 3:10).
The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor
homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners
will inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
