Which is why we need to make sure he is telling them truth and not intentionally leading them with false information. Now don't get me wrong, because truth has various view points depending on may variables. Because a conservative economist must speak the truth doesn't mean he won't have a conservative view point. It simply means and can't insert intentional false information to add severity or strength to their argument.

So John Stewart will still be John and Rush will still be Rush but they will be held accountable to providing true facts and not intentionally false, slanderous information.

Yeah, right...as if it won't denigrate into one person's version of the truth.

As Aaron said...slander/libel laws already exist.

Nope, I'm entitled to my opinion. I am covered by the first amendment.

Apparently that only applies to him, and to viewpoints he deems "truthful."

Like I said...this is without a doubt the worst, most anti-american idea I've ever seen posted on the BB. Implementation of this garbage would destroy our country. Anyone with a shred of knowledge about history of governments would see what that kind of abuse such power would entail.

I suppose nobody cares that Stabenow's husband, the prostitute client [SIZE=-1]Tom Athans, is the CEO of the liberal Democracy Radio, and the executive V.P. of the failed Air America ?

Conflict of interest anyone ?

Nah, couldn't be.

And no, I will not provide a link. I'll leave it to you to make me a liar.

Typical Curtis. All talk and no link. And no, your not a liar, just lazy.

I am not the professional media nor an I an expert on this subject. I am free to speak because I have no authority or liability to be correct. IOW, take my advice at your own risk.

Here is a good example of careless broadcasting...

BTW, Air America is still on the air and has not failed as was mentioned. I just renewed my subscription to it to listen to it via the Internet.

Air America survives off of donations more than advertising sponsors. And that will come to an end at some point. If the libbies can get the silliness doctrine back then Air America will not be a need. Probably has a lot to do with the drive behind it.

You, sir, make the assertion that "I don't believe anyone on the left has even suggested restoring the Fairness Doctrine." I've proven that people on the left have suggested restoring the fairness doctrine. It's funny that you say I have to give support, but when I do you just dismiss it. I don't care if the bill was rejected. It still proves that people on the left have an agenda to promote the fairness doctrine.

Mr. Wade, let me introduce you to Mr. Poles.

Evidence means nothing ...unless it comes from a source he approves and matches his agenda.:1_grouphug:

Yes...I've since figured that out. With Magnetic Poles on one side and OldRegular on the other, I feel like I'm stuck between Michael Moore and Ann Coulter!
