"kyredneck,
What is it you've done to insinuate Molly Marshall will 'perish' for being unorthodox?:
Do you think people who defy God will not perish eternally?
I never met this woman. AL Mohler did, saw she was in error and dealt with it. She did not repent but found itching ears to listen to her.
and found her deserving of eternal consequences for her 'rebellion
'.
I never said such a thing as I leave it open ended....I told you God alone is her judge. You are trying to paint me into a corner, that i have not gone into, but the fact is you went overboard in your objection and are trying to salvage it by making up what you would have me to say or think.
You cannot show me saying what you suggest...as I did not say it. I framed it in the "if the shoe fits category". The warnings are in scripture for a reason. I take heed personally and suggest others do likewise. You sit back in your hyper-cal fatalism and accuse me for not jumping over the cliff with you.
You are welcome to your view which is in error. I am welcome to mine.
You've certainly been 'examining' the PBs on this thread.
I have no interaction with PB persons that i know of. Evidently they keep too themselves and desire to separate from Calvinistic persons. That is fine with me. I have no ax to grind with them unless they deny the means God has ordained and go on the attack as you have.
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you. Mt 7
yes... a fine verse...I like this one myself;
24 Judge not according to the appearance,
but judge righteous judgment.
It's the same thing I've stated to you before, you habitually read eternal consequences into scripture where it is not intended. His children reap and are chastised in this temporal realm. Their home in heaven is assured.
And we do not agree here .....while I can agree with you that all believers are chastised here as per hebrews 12;
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:
shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness,
without which no man shall see the Lord:
I think verse 14 is eternal.......WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD.
What do you think it means? They all go to heaven and it does not matter if they are what are described as bastards and not sons??? They go to heaven...but do not get to see the Lord temporarily even though scripture says every eye shall see Him.
