A Second Lockdown?

Do you think most Americans would as willingly participate in a second lockdown as the first one?

Perhaps the key is Asia gets all these diseases and has immunity built up. The US destroys the immunity build up, thus more people get sick and die.

How can you have immunity to novel corona virus? Taiwan has a superior medical system. They were prepared and the USA wasn't.

PPE isn't the answer. There is no proof that is what kept Taiwan from getting more cases. The lockdown, if anything, is prolonging the issue. Also, I don't believe the death toll numbers here in the United States for one second. They are inflated.

Why did the CDC suggest PPE for the HIV corona?

Taiwan is a small island. Taiwan has 24 million people.

The United States is a large country on a large continent. The United States has 330 million people.

Yes. And the USA was unprepared and Taiwan did not romantize the Chinese Communist Party like the NBA does.

At the Lake of the Ozarks in my home state of Missouri, people were not thinking lock down on Memorial Day, but party time! It's probably just a matter of time before the media screams second wave and they push for another lock down.

The time for action was 2019 not now. The Lake of the Ozarks looks like such a nice area. I actually was talking about it this morning to what's her name.

To be fair, it was notTaiwan's medical system that prepared them for the virus. It was the 2003 epidemic and their relationship with China.

I have visited the Lake of the Ozarks numerous times since I was a kid and it's changed quite a bit. In my younger days, back in the 70's, it was more family oriented. These days it's more party oriented. It's known for "Party Cove" in which multiple boats pull into a cove and it's anything goes, fueled by excessive alcohol!

The population of Osage Beach has grown quite a bit since I was a kid and wealthy people are building multi-million dollar houses on the lake and own very expensive boats. The pool party location in the video (Back Water Jacks) is a popular hang out and they have boat slips for customers to park their boats and stay for lunch or dinner.

One day, while staying at a fishing cabin across from Back Water Jacks around 10 years ago, I watched a 58 foot Sea Ray pull up. That boat costs around $1,000,000! It looked more like a Yacht that belonged on the ocean!

God worked it all out for my good. It does not seem to be that positive for you. My condolences. I doubt complaining all the time helps. I was always told laughter is the best medicine. Hope my post have at least let you laugh.

I'm not laughing at you and you are right that laughter is the best medicine. Let me reiterate I have an essential job and I never was ill so for me life is good but Taiwan was prepared and the USA was not. I myself think that this was a biological warfare attack from Red China and I expect another one in the future. Nixon hoped that money would overcome communism in China; communism only became stronger and more repressive. Nixon should have remembered what China did to Tibet. How many did Mao murder? Sixty million? More? Look at all Mao murdered before WW II and during WW II. FDR sold out the people on Taiwan to Mao. John Birch was an American missionary to China who was murdered just after the end of WW II by the Chinese communists. The Chinese sent a quarter million troops against us at the Chosen Reservoir in Korea. They bombed Quemoy and Matsu. China must be destroyed.

They lost 7 people to the Chinese virus while we lost 100,000 people. Taiwan is the true China, the remnant of the old China that American novelist Pearl Buck wrote about. It is the followers of Chang Kai-Shek whom FDR sold out to Mao.

I would like to go there. I have been out on Lake Erie some. We have sand dunes on Lake Michigan here in Indiana. Beautiful beach. Lake of the Ozarks is big, isn't it? What's her name would like it.

Yes. They checked Temps on incoming people, confiscated their phones to check GPS locations, quarantined suspected cases, ect. They were prepared for an epidemic, specifically coming from China based on safety violations.

Lake of the Ozarks is decent size, but it’s much smaller than the Great Lakes, of course.
