If there was a national crisis, would you be willing to get the old uniform out and sign up again?

I know some may say, due to my health and/or age, I would not be qualified.

Well lets put that aside for the purpose of this discussion

After leaving active duty in '77, I served two years in the Navy Reserve a nice part time job in Bible College), then I served two years in the Air National Guard and two in the Army Guard (the last State side during the First Gulf War).

In the event of a national emergency I could take over somebody's desk thus freeing them up for a more important job. I am way past mandatory retirement age and my health is not all that great, but I would do what I could to support the cause of liberty. :)

If the Army told me they'd let me back in tomorrow, I'd meet the recruiter tonight. I'm sick of being a civilian. Unfortunately, the doctors don't see it the way I do.
