A Victory for State/Church Separation

    If they were a prominent citizen who helped a prominent organization in helping thousands upon thousands of needy people, then so be it. I would bet you'd be hard-pressed to find a satanist who has helped as many needy people as Mr. Mosher did.

    Religion in itself is beside the point. It was a monument to a man who was a humanitarian. The Bible was placed as a memorial to him to show the reason he did what he did. He did it because of his belief in helping others, which he drew straight out of the Bible.

    No minority is being protected by this ruling. It's simply inflaming the masses. No rights were being denied to anyone by this monument. No damages could be shown by the "victim". This case was about idealogy, nothing more.

    This was a monument to a man, not a religion.

    Going strictly by the Constitution, there should have been no way the judges could rule in the way they did. Yet another example of judicial activism.
