LOL, Ben Sasse as an elite.
Sasse is a brilliant man along the lines of Daniel in the Bible. He received his education because of the hard work he did growing up, not because of a golden ticket.
In regard to Godliness. His walk with God is likely much deeper than the vast majority of people who post here, including both of you and myself. Before running for the Senate, he and his family took a 2 week retreat to pray and receive counsel from God alone. When his entire family was in agreement, Sasse then chose to run again for Senate. God then caused Sasse to win reelection in a landslide. Indeed, Sasse opposed the "elite" Donald Trump, who was given everything he has and exemplifies the evil Habakkuk saw in Judah.
