ABORTED BABIES PREDESTINED?

Jesus went to the cross to save us from our sins.
Babies don't sin. It is ridiculous to say babies will go to Hell just because they could end up later in life sinning. Again salvation is for sinners and babies are not sinners.

Where is this thread heading? Regeneration for babies. Like the Catholics and Methodists teach.
This is why they have infant baptism. This in turn let the catholics to have a place called Purgatory where all unregnerate or unbaptized babie go. There is not enough scripture to back this belief at all.

 

Consider how the Master loves children:

Matthew 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

(Who are more pure in heart than babies?)

Romans 9:11 (For [the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth

(Babies have not done good or evil, according to Paul.)

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Mark 10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and [his] disciples rebuked those that brought [them].

14 But when Jesus saw [it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

16 And he took them up in his arms, put [his] hands upon them, and blessed them.

Luke 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offenses will come: but woe [unto him], through whom they come!

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. (Like taking away their innocence?)

God is the Giver of Abundant Life! Every good and perfect gift comes from Him! He is Just and He is Merciful, He is Gracious, and He is Total Love. Because babies are innocent, never having made a choice to sin, they are safe from all harm in the Loving Arms of their Creator. And the aborted Little Ones probably have a special place in His Loving Heart.

 

So I'm guessing its not a good thing to grow up. Your chances of heaven drop from about 100% to 5.

 

This is not really a question about abortion per se, but infant salvation.

You lost me in the circle here?? So did he come for children or not? I'll admit I hate the idea of abortion from my viewpoint but if the above premise above is true I do not understand some of you do not approve of it. Would we not all be doing our children the merciful thing by allowing them to die before they become sinners and deserve condemnation, if your assumption is true. Wouldn't I have been better off to be aborted than to grow up past some age of accountability?

 

If children are not sinners as some have stated, why did God himself have to become flesh to provide a perfect death as our substitution? If the premise of babies and young children not being sinners is true, any of Adam’s race that are still babies or young children could have done the job because they were sinless and perfect.

Why were Cain, Abel, Seth, etc born outside the Garden of Eden, separated from God, the tree of life, and into a sin cursed world? If they were born not sinners it appears that God was not acting righteously by allowing this to happen to so-called “non-sinners,” as some of you call them.

 

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

*David was conceived and brought forth in iniquity.

Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

*Apparently, Jeremiah was "sanctified" yet while still in the womb.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Rom 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

John the Baptist (not presbyterian) was filled w/ the Holy Spirit, "even from his mothers womb".
The statement above implies a couple of ideas.

1) All babies are filled in the mothers womb.
2) Not all babies are filled in the mothers womb.
3) God elects some babies and fills them in the mothers womb.
4) God leaves some babies in their sin in the mothers womb.
5) God elects children to salvation , yet waits till a later date to regenerate them.
6) God leaves the sinner in their sin and chooses not to save them.
