Abortion Doctor Says Killing ‘Ugly Black Babies’ Saves Taxpayer Money

In a videotaped confrontation with pro-life demonstrators, a man identified as Dr. Ron Virmani argues that his abortion practice saves taxpayers money and prevents the babies from growing up to kill people like the recent Aurora, Colo., shooter.

He then challenges the pro-life demonstrators to adopt “one of those ugly black babies.”

Dr. Virmani apparently also has been a frequent contributor to Democratic Party candidates.

As shocking as Virmani’s words may be, they aren’t surprising.

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was an outspoken eugenicist, believing that light-skinned races were inherently superior to dark-skinned. She spoke of plans to sterilize “the unfit” as “the salvation of American civilization.”

In 1929, she opened an abortion clinic in Harlem with the encouragement of the black leader of the Urban League, James H. Hubert. The clinic, with a black staff and black advisory board, was supported by W.E.B. Du Bois, founder of the NAACP.

Most ludicrously, Sanger was lauded by Martin Luther King when he accepted a Margaret Sanger Award.

Sanger also included people “whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers” among the people who should be done away with.

An associate of Sanger’s, Dr. Harry Laughlin, spoke of “purifying” Americans’ “breeding stock” by doing away with undesirables, among whom he included the “shiftless, ignorant, and worthless class of antisocial whites of the South.”

According to Census figures, the eugenicist legacy of Sanger and her cohorts is still going strong. In 2007, the most recent figures available, 13.8 per 1,000 white women ages 15-44 had an abortion. For black women, the rate was 48.2 per 1,000. For all others, it was 21.6 women per 1,000.

The Centers for Disease Control reports lower numbers, but a disproportionate number of abortions still are undergone by black women. For 2008, the CDC reported 34 black women per 1,000 and 10 white women per 1,000 received abortions.

Between 1973 and 2004, roughly 15 million blacks were aborted. In 2004, there were only about 36 million blacks in the U.S., so about 30 percent of the potential U.S. black population has been lost to abortion.

How many scientists, astronauts, doctors, scholars, athletes or entertainers will we never know because of abortion? Any one of those children could have been another Albert Einstein or George Washington Carver or Thomas Sowell. But we’ll never know.

Abortion is a tragedy all around, but it has been especially so for black communities, and it’s one that is promoted, supported and funded by liberal members of Congress and a string of presidents without the courage to stand up to what has become a well-funded industry with a lot of political clout.
An aggressive campaign of sex education for children has been reinforced by an unquestioning media that without any hint of irony labels as “women’s reproductive rights” a practice whose sole aim is to stop reproduction of undesirables.

For 2010, Planned Parenthood received $487 million in government grants and reimbursements. It’s been funded by the government since the Nixon Administration. Not just Democrats, but cynical Republicans who, like Dr. Virmani, see abortion as a way to “save” taxpayers money by reducing welfare roles, have made sure that the abortion mills keep working.

Kudos for the Thomas Sowell reference!! Agreed. Abortion is David Duke's bestest buddy in the world. It is genocide of blacks.

But"good" Christian Republicans want to ban all abortions AND eliminate all welfare programs. If you can't buy slaves then raising dalits is second best.

If you are looking to have a reasonable conversation with old billy then you are barking up the wrong tree. He is a lot like the weird uncle that everyone in the family hopes never says anything.
